Who We Are

The Maternal and Newborn Fund (MNF) is a Swiss-registered non-profit (Verein) operating a $250M endowed blended-finance model to sustainably deliver maternal nutrition support across fragile and crisis-affected settings. Backed by a trusted network of technical partners and multilateral agencies, MNF combines philanthropic capital with catalytic financing instruments to deploy large-scale, evidence-based solutions that protect mothers and improve newborn outcomes through cost-effective interventions embedded within national systems and strengthened by global partnerships.

At its core is 100 Million Refugee Mothers, the flagship program designed to distribute 18 billion Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) to 100 million pregnant women over the next 20 years across 63 countries. This bold, scalable initiative transforms pregnancy, the most vulnerable phase of life, into a safer and more supported experience, helping to prevent anaemia, reduce adverse outcomes, and give newborns a stronger start to life.

Our Vision

A world where every pregnancy is nourished, and every newborn begins life with the chance to thrive. Through focused investment in maternal nutrition and resilient health systems, MNF protects mothers and unlocks brighter futures for generations to come.
